"Had dinner here with some friends from high school and we had a great time. Tried things like their seafood boil, chili cheese fries, and onion rings. Everything tasted fresh and was served hot. We hung out over a few beers and just caught up. Would recommend this spot for a chill evening."

"Always a good time. Tucked away bar with great bartenders. Bar food steak night sat is never a let down. Meatloaf Wednesdays are great. Band almost every night. Open mic night Thursday & Sunday. Every summer they have bike nights- bring your bike or classic on sundays. Very people friendly. Don’t bring your BS it’ll be squashed by regulars."

"Really nice place for friends, family and date night. I went here on a date with my African boyfriend. They were very nice and attentive. The only other Black person was on a date with his white significant other. But I felt very comfortable and well attended to. Thankfully because I was worried. Food came out fast. Was very hot and fresh. I didn't have to beg for condiments like I do everywhere else. They brought out mustard, mayo, ketchup and Tabasco for my fried chicken sandwich which was really delicious. I loved the home cooked fries. He got mozzarella cheese sticks. Ate them all.. The karaoke is really nice on a Tuesday night. I will be going back on the weekend. Parking was very easy to navigate."

"A really welcoming and relaxed atmosphere makes this place stand out right away. The live music is a real highlight, with musicians who are well known around Kansas City, including a few faces I recognize from Knuckleheads. It almost feels like Knuckleheads North in the best way. The food is genuinely good, the portions are solid, and everything comes out quick. The two pool tables and two dart boards are in great condition, and there are plenty of comfortable spots to settle in and hang out. You can tell there is a lot of heart in the decorations and the overall vibe. It is not fancy, but it has character and charm that make it an easy place to relax and enjoy the night."

"Tonight is my first time here. Really cool atmosphere and friendly staff. Originally, there was going to be an open jam which is why I came. There was some miscommunication about things changing and there was a band booked to play. They were so cool and let me play a set with them. I'm not in the pictures but my saxophone is!"

"My go-place whenever I'm in town (like, 3 or 4 days in a row). Excellent food, very nice vibe, and totally awesome staff! Great place to have spontaneous & great conversations. Enjoy some live music (on the right night), and stay warm by the fire pit on chilly nights."

"Dive vibe, low key, unfussy, friendly, good food, cold beer. Energetic, attentive owner. Plenty of tvs with various sports on, and fun rock music in background. Stopped in for lunch, caught some preseason football. Had the fish sandwich special which came with fresh cut, fresh cooked fries and crisp lettuce as pictured. Definitely recommend if you are in the area!"
